We analysed the transcriptomic response of 3 rhizobial symbionts of Mimosa pudica (Rhizobium mesoamericanum STM3625, Cupriavidus taiwanensis LMG19424 and Burkholderia phymatum STM815) when cultivated in a minimum culture medium (control condition) versus induced by root exudates of their host plant Mimosa pudica. We used RNAseq using illumina technology.

Construction protocol: Bacteria were grown in VSG medium (Vincent-Succinate-Glutamate, Vincent, 1970) supplemented with root exudates of Mimosa pudica (induced condition) or not (control condition) Total RNA were extracted at mid log pahse of growth (4,5 for BP and CT, 6h for RM) using the RiboPure kit (Ambion), and rRNA were subtracted by two steps of MicrobeExpress kit (Ambion) extracted following Libraries were built by GATC company using the Trueseq Illumina kit
